I am an evolutionary ecologist broadly interested in understanding variation in wildlife health and behavioural phenotypes. My research asks how predictable these phenotypes are in nature, and how eco-evolutionary factors influence that predictability.​ I use a combination of fieldwork, laboratory experiments, and meta-analysis, working primarily with fish and bats. My research spans multiple levels of biological organization, from individuals to populations and species, and across geographic scales ranging from local to global.

I am currently an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Oklahoma, where I investigate bat behaviour, parasitism, and immunity. My postdoctoral work is supervised by Daniel Becker at the University of Oklahoma, Rachel Page at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, and Ralph Simon at Nuremberg Zoo.
